Question: How Do artist develop in a community that's not their Own?
Three interviewees
Mabel Francisco- Mabel and I come from similar backgrounds. Working with a large community of all artist to working with a community where less than half are artist. Mabel is not a physically engaged artist but still takes part in the artistic community of North Adams. Mabel can give a firsthand account to the shift in transitioning communities.
Callan Garner- active artist in the MCLA community. MCLA is an extremely diverse community and produces great artistic work. Callen works well with fellow artist in number of plays that reflect the artistic diversity.
Norton Owen- Staff director at Jacob's pillow. Jacob's pillow is the mecca to artist. hosing artist from around the globe. The community of Jacob's pillow can relate to the steps it takes to develop artistic work for a diverse community. Achieved efforts are reflected in many different festivals. “ Inside out. “

how much time you you spend outside your community.
How Important is reciprocity to the artist and the community.
What can expect to gain from this.
Along with these questions, I plan to jot down keywords and phrases that can provoke a more personal follow up question for each participant.
